Privacy Policy

LendLock does not collect any data. It has no servers, no user accounts, and no analytics, and it makes no network requests of its own. Nothing you configure in LendLock leaves your device.

What LendLock stores on your device

All of the following is stored locally on your iPhone or iPad and is never transmitted to us or anyone else:

• Your app choices. When you pick apps or categories to lock or allow, iOS gives LendLock opaque tokens rather than a readable list. LendLock cannot see which apps they are, and neither can we.
• Your setups and settings — the names of your lending setups, which one is active, whether guest mode is on, and whether the settings lock is enabled.
• Your LendLock code, if you set one. Only a salted cryptographic hash is stored, in the device Keychain. The code itself is never written down anywhere, and it cannot be recovered from the hash.

This data is shared between the LendLock app and its widget and block-screen extensions using a private app group container on your device. Deleting LendLock removes all of it and lifts any locks it applied.

Screen Time access

LendLock asks for Screen Time (Family Controls) authorization so it can lock and unlock apps. The authorization is for your own device. LendLock uses it only to apply and remove restrictions — it does not read your usage history, and it does not request the Screen Time capability that would allow it to.

Purchases

LendLock Pro is a one-time in-app purchase handled entirely by Apple. We never see your name, payment details, or Apple Account. Your purchase is confirmed on your device through Apple's StoreKit, and LendLock stores only a local flag indicating that Pro is unlocked. Apple may provide us with aggregate, anonymous sales reports; those contain no personal information. Apple's handling of purchases is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Data sharing

There is nothing to share. We do not collect, sell, rent, or transfer personal information, and LendLock contains no third-party SDKs, advertising, or tracking of any kind.

Children

LendLock is designed to be set up by the owner of a device, and is not directed at children. Because the app collects no data from anyone, it collects no data from children regardless of who is holding the device.

Your rights

Privacy laws such as the GDPR and CCPA give you rights to access, correct, or delete personal data a company holds about you. We hold none. The data LendLock creates lives on your device and is entirely under your control; deleting the app deletes it.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
